Venus

The imprisoned chest of the woman in rock reveals a third dimension through the cracks we see. Slowly breaking from the mold and the symbolic behind the rope shown in one of the pieces, linking us all together. This is mainly inspired by the liberation of women as they gained more rights during the 80s, yet never truly free as it’s a never-ending work in progress.

Throughout this creative evolution the unleashed subconscious of the artist makes use of a considerable amount of imagination, time and space get dissolved, nature’s phenomena, shapes and colors gel integrated, objects get aesthetically signified, the mind gets poeticized.
